Tea saponin has been used extensively in industrial and agricultural production and human life with excellent pesticide biological activity and surface activity. Conventional extraction techniques of water extraction and organic solvent method for saponin is soluble in water with many organic solvents . In recent study of the auxiliary formulation and macroporous resin method , the recovery and purity of tea saponin develop greatly. Nowadays tea saponin is mainly applied to medicine , chemical industry , feeding engineering , soil remediation and other fields . This review covers the research and development at home and abroad . Tea saponin is a prom_ ising agricultural and industrial raw material . By high purity , low cost , the research on active mechanism has a broad prospect.
